Chertsey Weir

Chertsey Weir is a friendly pour-over, popular during the summer months when the Thames is low. However during high water small waves can appear on either side.

Access
On the M25 take junction 11 and follow signs to Chertsey. After the snow and rock shop you will come across a T-Junction; turn right and you will soon come to a bridge over the Thames. At the end of the bridge you can either turn left or right. On the right is small car park - paddle upstream to access the weir. Alternatively on the left is a road going under the M3 with space for parking before the bridge. Chertsey Weir is located near the Sunbury and Shepperton Weirs along with White Water the Canoe Center.
