The Glaslyn is a river in Gwynedd, Wales. Put in at the lay-by next to Llyn Dinas (the river) on the Pen-y-Gwyrd to Beddgelert road.
The upper section is an easy Class I/II paddle down starting in the lake, and building up to a more difficult boulder garden near the town of Beddgelert. The whole run is about 3 miles, and can take half an hour. After this the valley narrows and the river steepens, as it leads into the Aberglaslyn gorge (but with a very easy take-out by the layby on river right).
