Bitches, Bitching, Bitchin' ... not very nice names for such a great place. Visit one of the UK's classic whitewater play spots where the waves are clean, green and glassy and the holes munchy, crunchy and ballsy. There are all sorts of myths and legends about the water here, hopefully this site will set the record straight and give you enough detail to make up your mind when to visit and just what you need to be capable of.
Big boats steer clear, whilst small boats, kayaks and canoes come to play or gawp, and everyone respects the power of the water; for those that don't the Bitches will bite their bums!
