The Nene Whitewater Centre is an artificial whitewater course made from concrete, and is located on the banks of the River Nene, near Northampton, Northamptonshire.

Centre
The Centre building has full changing room and showering facilities including those for the disabled, a cafeteria, a lift and course training rooms, if required. It is the home of the Northamptonshire Clubs for Young People (CYP), the Northampton Canoe & Kayak Club and the Northampton Rowing Club.
Course
Three pumps control the discharge of water down the 300 metre, 7 pool, whitewater course allowing the Centre to control flow rates thereby altering the course’s difficulty and skill levels required to paddle it.

Situated on the Bedford Road (A428) on the South East urban fringe of Northampton, with superb access from the M1 (Junction 15), the Nene Whitewater Centre boasts the UK’s first pumped artificial whitewater course.
